Step Into Your Role

Performance under Pressure

Authenticity is an action. Connection is a choice. Feelings are information. What you do with them in front of a room — that's craft.

I train teams and leaders to step into their role, read the room, listen deeply, practice curiousity, create connection, and perform under pressure.

If you want to know how to be in your body, be fully present, shift your state, regulate, listen & respond, and step into your role, choose a coach who's been using these techniques since she could tie her shoes.

"La Fanson is a force of nature. Practically perfect in every way. Mary Poppins learned from her." --Scott Simpson, Development Consultant

Physical Business

Human skills and how we create vibe will always be at the heart of the quality of our lives.

Connection isn't just about the roles we step into but the relationships we build. Drawing on decades of elite performance, body language, and behavioral adaptability,

I developed SCAN—a results-driven framework with practical tools for embodied self awareness.

Proven strategies that boost mental clarity, resilience, and adaptability when it matters most.

Step Into your Role

Understanding the Roles You Play, the Impact You Have, and the Results You Want

Business owner. Leader. Mentor. Parent. Partner. Teacher. Care-taker. Friend.

Every day, you're expected to wear many hats, sometimes switching between them in minutes. Being so busy, we might never stop to examine how we're showing up in our roles, what each role truly requires, or where we may be creating unnecessary friction for ourselves and others.

The Directors Method™

Examining the roles and relationships that matter most in our lives.

Step 1: Know Your Character : Recognize how you currently show up in an important role.
Before you can read a room, you need to know what you're bringing into it. Your values, your patterns under pressure, your default settings — the through-line that makes you you. This is your character. It doesn't change. It's the foundation.

Authenticity is your character. Adaptability is your range.

Step 2: Read the Scene : Explore the people, expectations, and dynamics around you.
Every room has a logic. A board meeting, a difficult conversation, a dinner table, a keynote, a sales meeting, a negotiation — each one has agreements, unspoken rules, power dynamics, and an emotional temperature. Skilled communicators observe it moment to moment.

Your character doesn't change, your delivery does.

Step 3: Commit to the Part : Develop a deliberate approach that aligns with your goals and values.
Knowing who you are and reading the room means nothing if you can't execute under pressure. This is where physical presence, vocal authority, and moment-to-moment adaptability become craft. Committing doesn't mean performing, it means knowing the parts of you that step into the room with you.

The goal isn't a smaller, safer version of you. It's the full version of you, present in every room.

You'll leave with:

- Clarity about where you are and where you want to be
- Expansion from roles to relationships and insight into what's holding you back
- Action you can take immediately to move forward with confidence

Whether you're leading a team, managing client relationships, raising a family, or navigating personal commitments, this workshop will help you become more intentional about how you show up and what you want to achieve.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Kelly Fanson and attending one of her sessions, and I was immediately struck by her depth of knowledge and the clarity she brings to her work.
